This ‘error’ popped up (pooped up?) after I filled in my phone number, zip code, and email address at http://americancensorship.org/, a site promoting awareness of the SOPA and PIPA bills and providing an easy way to urge your congresspeople to vote AGAINST them.

This showed up about 30 seconds after page load while reading an article on The Daily Caller (through the Echofon Twitter client). I couldn't close it using the 'x', so didn't bother to finish reading the article. My assumption is that this ad is coming from The Daily Caller, not Echofon, but I could be wrong.

I love this ‘thank you’ page for Signal (http://www.signalhq.com/). Best viewed at 100%. Nice job, @dmyler & co.

I'm sure I'm not the first to point this out, but the 'More' button to expand a comment in the Mac App Store is rather oddly placed.

The Perch CMS has one of the best demos I've ever seen. They email you when your demo subdomain is set up (fast as lightning!), and it's fully functional, available for 24 hours, and does a great job of showing how this simple CMS works.

I like this "Check out the source code" link, and that it shows a version of the code that includes the Perchy PHP tags. I immediately understood the basics of how to integrate my own HTML/CSS templates with Perch. An example of the source code it displays appears below.

My wife is formatting a large document in Word and ran into some bizarre numbering/style issues. Being the valiant geek that I am, I came to her rescue. Or tried to. After a couple hours I gave up and she resorted to manual numbering, as applying a header style inevitably threw everything off. I'm so glad I rarely ever use this bloated, needlessly-complex software.

…did Russian authoritarianism cause the Moscow airport bombing? Of course neither is true, but it would be interesting to know if the Russian reporter who suggested a connection between American freedoms and mass murder would also attribute yesterday's airport bombing in Moscow to Russia's lack of similar freedoms.

The two most prominent articles on the RT (Russia Today) homepage are the airport bombing and an article on this reporter's suggestion about our own recent attack (http://bit.ly/hhXm2c). As ridiculous a question as it is, I would agree that asking it is not "a revival of the Cold War."

What does this story about a pastor telling his congregation not to use Facebook have to do with Rand Paul? Oops.
