Results of git-gc on the macports repo 0 comments
After letting it run overnight, git-gc managed to repair the massive repo caused by importing 33000 revisions from svn without repacking.
Always use --repack with git-svn fetch 0 comments
This is what you get for importing 33000 revisions from svn into git without using the --repack flag. I expect the git gc to take at least another hour.
