Apple recently announced that it would adjust its pricing to reflect the exchange rate. That meant that $.99 apps were now $.99 in Australia - not $1.19. I guess this doesn't apply to MacOS Lion?
Welcome to 1997, ASIC. To add insult to injury, ASIC presents this lovely image of IE4 - demonstrating how up-to-date they are with technology. (Injury = requiring Adobe Acrobat reader to update address - so I had to find a computer with that bloatware already installed. Then the freeform security question and answer required an answer that was "at least 6 characters long". Then the whole thing timed out & I had to start the whole process again. I'm a consultant in IT with multiple, high-powered computers and a high-speed connection. God help anyone with lesser tech and abilities. Yay for accessibility, ASIC.)
Our cul-de-sac near the beach is always packed. Getting a space can be difficult. There are 4 motorcyclists that park on the street, so when someone moves their car, all 4 bikes end up in that space for the night. I couldn't believe the logic fail of this SUV driver. We park our bikes tightly against each other to conserve space for all the cars. Does she think motorcycles don't have a right to park?
Here I'm saying something about how the helmet law killed the Melbourne and Brisbane bike sharing schemes, but Girohelmets' re-tweet spambot can't differentiate good from bad.
The Share Icon is becoming the de facto standard visual representation for sharing content, yet Fairfax seems to use it to subscribe to videos? http://shareicons.com/
Shame on you, Normanby Hotel. I never subscribed to you, and this is the second time I've had to unsubscribe from your spam. I don't even live in Brisbane!
